Connection between vocabulary and narrative ability
Dr. Isabel Neitzel publishes further analyses on narrative skills in people with Down syndrome
Dr. Isabel Neitzel from the Department of Language and Communication has published a new article in the international journal "Research in Developmental Disabilities". The article addresses the close connection between narrative ability and other language areas and presents findings on the significant importance of vocabulary performance in people with Down syndrome, with a particular focus on the differentiation of the verb lexicon. The results presented could be of great importance for language support and therapy for this group of people. Further analyses of other populations would be desirable in this context.
