The S&K team wishes you a relaxing Christmas season and a good start to the New Year!

It's that time again. The S&C team is looking forward to the Christmas season and wishes all students and teaching staff a relaxing, peaceful and wonderful holiday season and a good start to the new year 2025.

At the same time, we would like to look back with thanks on 2024, a year in which our S&K department was able to celebrate many successes. These included prizes such as the Research Transfer Prize (for Jannika Böse and Prof. Anna-Lena Scherger) and, most recently, the Poster Prize, which Dr. Isabel Neitzel received for her contribution to digital diagnostics. The S&K team was also delighted to see the funding period for some of our research projects extended, such as the extended funding of the DFG project on pupillometry (Prof. Anna-Lena Scherger) and two new DFG grants (MetaGraM by Dr. Eva Wimmer and DynPer by Dr. Isabel Neitzel, which will start in 2025). In addition, many exciting contributions were again published by our employees and presented and discussed in Germany and internationally. We are excited about the future and look forward to interesting new projects next year as well as informative seminars and discussions with our students.

The team was also pleased to welcome new doctoral students and student and research assistants. This year, team cohesion was strengthened in particular by the dragon boat race on Lake Phoenix and other team events. Many thanks to all employees and assistants of the S&K team for their constant commitment and willingness to help.

May 2025 bring just as many wonderful moments that we look back on with pleasure.
