Prof. Anna-Lena Scherger talked to the Rotary Club Dortmund Neutor about language development integrated into daily life at daycare centers.

With summer-like high temperatures, the fireplace room at the Dortmund Actien Brewery was a pleasant venue for the meeting of the Rotary Club Dortmund Neutor. The guest lecture by Prof. Anna-Lena Scherger on language development integrated into daily life at daycare centers generated a great deal of interest and sparked a lively discussion about multilingualism and language development. Data from the Erdmännchen project, which was awarded the Dr. Michael Brenscheidt-Transferpreis by TU Dortmund University, was presented. In addition, the follow-up project MEDIAL, which has just been launched in collaboration with the University of Wuppertal, was also presented. Many thanks to the participating Rotary Club members for their interest.
