Linguistic implications of Lesch-Nyhan syndrome

New overview article by Dr. Isabel Neitzel about a rare genetic syndrome

With an incidence of 1:380,000 to 1:235,000, Lesch-Nyhan syndrome is a very rare genetic syndrome that is associated with speech motor, intellectual and language impairments, among other things. Dr. Isabel Neitzel from S&K, Carolin Niederprüm, B.A. and Dr. Dr. Reiner Haus from the IB department shed light on this rare syndrome in a current short article in the specialist journal "Sprache-Stimme-Gehör".
