Former team members

Prof. (retired) Dr. Ute Ritterfeld headed the Department of Language & Communication from 2010 to 2023. She also headed the Center for Counselling and Therapy (ZBT) at our faculty and was active on university committees for many years (including the Faculty Council and Senate). With her commitment, she strengthened cooperation within the faculty (e.g. the RooT network she initiated) and was very active in promoting young academics (e.g. as a liaison lecturer for the German National Academic Foundation). Her externally funded research (DFG, BMBF, EU and others) at the intersection of health, education and technology is documented in numerous publications (ORCID 0000-0002-5109-9798).

After 42 years of service to the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences, Priv.-Doz. Dr. Katja Subellok retired in autumn 2022. She was a research assistant in the Department of Language and Communication and Dean of Studies at the Faculty and was Head of the Speech Therapy Outpatient Clinic from 2008 to 2022.
